Sheep Farms

Sheep Farms

Modern conditions of animal husbandry suggest a transition from extensive, traditional technologies to intensive, as close as possible to industrial ones. Sheep breeding is no exception. Green pastures and streams are replaced by pens with automated systems for feeding, watering and caring for animals. New construction methods make it possible to significantly reduce the costs of building livestock complexes.

Sheep Farms Construction overview

The pen is designed, built and put into operation in a short time. Premises for keeping sheep are mounted without heavy machinery using modern structures and covering materials.

When breeding small cattle, in contrast to poultry farming, one-story farms are built. The total area of the pen is calculated based on the size of the herd according to the accepted norms. Important factors in the design of the building will be the methods of keeping animals, the planned level of automation and mechanization of processes, and the method of harvesting and storing fodder. The number of separate pens is planned based on the peculiarities of the farm's specialization: breeding livestock or keeping livestock for the food or textile industry. In any case, separate pens for young animals are provided.

To create comfortable conditions for keeping sheep, it is necessary to maintain standard indicators of humidity and temperature. For this purpose, the pen is equipped with a ventilation system. Creating a microclimate is especially important for young animals.
